1Our safety promise
SoulMate AI should feel warm, fun and safe. These guidelines apply to everyone using the Service and to what you ask our AI characters to say. They are part of our Terms of Service.
2Adults only
You must be 18 or older. Every AI character is an adult. Do not pretend to be a minor or ask a character to act as one.
3Zero tolerance for anything involving minors
Any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers children is strictly forbidden. We block such requests, remove access immediately and report to the relevant authorities where the law requires.
4Keep it romantic, not explicit
Sweet, caring, romantic and playfully flirty conversations are welcome. Sexually explicit or pornographic content is not allowed — our characters are designed to politely change the topic if asked.
5Respect everyone
No hate speech, threats, harassment, bullying or content that promotes violence or discrimination based on religion, caste, race, gender, sexuality, disability or any other characteristic.
6Protect your privacy
- Never share passwords, OTPs, bank/card/UPI details or government ID numbers.
- Avoid sharing your full name, address, phone number or workplace.
- Don't share other people's personal information or photos.
- You can delete any chat from the chat menu (⋮ → Delete chat).
7Beware of scams
Our characters are AI — they will never ask you for money, gifts, recharges or to move the conversation to WhatsApp, Telegram or other apps. If someone claiming to be from SoulMate AI does this, it's a scam. Report it to us and to 1930 / cybercrime.gov.in.
8No illegal or harmful activity
Don't use the Service to plan or promote anything illegal or dangerous, including fraud, drugs, weapons, hacking or self-harm methods.
9Your wellbeing comes first
An AI companion can be comforting, but it's not a replacement for real people or professional help. If you're going through a hard time, talk to someone you trust or call Tele-MANAS 14416 (free, 24x7). In an emergency, call 112. Our characters will share these numbers if a conversation suggests you may be at risk.
10How we enforce these guidelines
- Built-in AI safety instructions on every character;
- Message limits (about 12 messages per minute) to stop spam and bots;
- Review of reported conversations by our team;
- Warnings, temporary limits or permanent blocking for violations.
11Report a problem
See something harmful, a bug, or a scam? Use ⋮ → Report in any chat or our report form. Serious complaints can go directly to our Grievance Officer.
Write to our support team or our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours.
